London: The aviation officials in the UK have briefly detained all 14 crew members of a Pakistan International Airline flight here following security concerns, a media report said on Tuesday.

The 14 detained crew members of a PIA flight let off after the aircraft was thoroughly searched for over two hours post-landing, the TOI reported.

Citing Pakistani media reports, TOI reported that after the passengers disembarked from flight PK-785, the crew and the aircraft were searched.

The aircraft had arrived in London's Heathrow Airport at 2.50 p.m from Islamabad on Monday.

It is not immediately known why the crew was detained but nothing was found on the plane.

The Pakistani now plans to take up the case with the British aviation authorities, the report said.

Citing Pakistani media, the report further said that crew was detained over 'alleged security threats via confidential information' and their passports were also withheld.
