Lucknow: Yogi Adityanath, the Mahant of Gorakhnath Matt, is all set to take oath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday afternoon. 

The priest-cum-politician would be heading the first BJP-led government in Uttar Pradesh in 14 years. Yogi Adityanath's name was finalised as the chief minister unanimously by the BJP leaders in a party legislaltive meet on Saturday. 

The party also announced names of two Deputy Chief Ministers – BJP state unit chief Keshav Prasad Maurya and Lucknow Mayor Dinesh Sharma. 

Although BJP is yet to reveal the names of State Cabinet ministers, it is reported that at least 44 MLAs are likely to be sworn-in as ministers in Uttar Pradesh today.

However, there has been no official confirmation on the same. 

Governor Ram Naik will administer the oath of office and secrecy to Adityanath, about 22 Cabinet ministers and 15 state ministers in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At least nine MLAs will be inducted as Minister of State (Independent Charge).
