Uttar Pradesh: Man, friend killed by lover's in-laws in Bulandshahr

Bulandshahr: A man was killed along with his friend allegedly by his married lover's in-laws in Shahpur village, police said on Tuesday.

According to Superintendent of Police (city) Pravin Rajan, Rohit (26) of Sondha Habibpur village, was reportedly in love with a married woman of the same village.

Their relationship continued even after the marriage of the woman which was resented by her in-laws, he said.

On Sunday, the police received a call that two men, apparently injured in a road accident, were lying along with their motorcycles, the SP said.

Both were taken to a hospital by the police where they were declared brought dead, Rajan said.

According to the victim's family, the police were told that he was called by the woman. The victim took his friend with him and both reached the woman's house, he said.

Both the victims were allegedly beaten to death by the woman's in-laws and to make things look like a road accident, their bodies were dumped by the roadside, the SP said.
