Paris: Edouard Roger-Vasselin, ranked 143rd in the world, was called up on Friday by France to replace injured Richard Gasquet for next month`s Davis Cup clash with Germany.
France, who will also have to do without their top player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, are comprised of Gilles Simon, Gael Monfils, Julien Benneteau, Nicolas Mahut and Roger-Vasselin.
The World Group first round tie is being held in Frankfurt on March 6-8.
