SHOCKING: When Narsingh Yadav was caught cheating in a Maharashtra police exam!

New Delhi: Indian wrestler Narsingh Yadav has come under fire after failing a dope Test just days ahead of Rio Olympics 2016.

The 74kg freestyle wrestler has protested his innocence blaming a conspiracy behind the news.

However, it is not for the first time that the Varanasi-born wrestler has failed a dope test.

According to a report in The Hindustan Times, Narsingh was barred from becoming a deputy superintendent in the Maharashtra Police after he was allegedly caught cheating in a written examination in 2014.

Narsingh got a job in Maharashtra police on the basis of his gold medal in the 2010 Commonwealth Games held in New Delhi. While undergoing two-year training, he had to clear 13 papers to be posted as DySP in Thane’s rural region.

However, that couldn't materialise as he was caught copying during the local and special law exam following which he was ordered to leave the hall.

According to the HT report, Niranjan Vayangankar, who was the deputy director of the Police Training Academy, had then told the media. It was the fourth paper and he was not allowed to take the remaining eight.
