New Delhi: India's six-year-old Suhaani Lohia from Mumbai made the country proud when she was ranked among the top six players in the world of around her age.

Currently, the chess prodigy Suhaani, has 1156 points in her kitty and is behind two Russians, two Iranians and one Danish player.

Suhaani, a student of Dhirubhai Ambani International School, joins the list of the world's youngest rated players in the girls' category.

Last month, Suhaani won a silver medal in the U-7 category at the National Schools Chess Championships at Nagpur, with an outstanding score of seven points out of possible nine.

Suhaani officially belongs to the top league with the world chess body Fide releasing a list this Sunday.
