Berlin: Switzerland international striker Josip Drmic has left Bayer Leverkusen for Borussia Moenchengladbach, his new club said on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old has signed a four-year deal after just one season at Leverkusen, whom he joined from Augsburg.

"Josip is a quick and dangerous forward who will fit well into our team," said Gladback sports director Max Eberl.

Drnic, who scored six goals in 38 matches last season, will replace Wolfsburg-bound Max Kruse.
