New Delhi: Sri Lanka's sinking hopes of winning the first test against Australia were revived by Kusal Mendis who at the end of Day 3, had scored 169* to give his side a lead of 196 runs.
The 21-year-old became the youngest Sri Lankan to score 150-plus runs against Australia in Test cricket.
Mendis also showed the opposition that he is oozing with confidence, after he brought his century with a six.
