New Delhi: Australian left-arm spinner Brad Hogg thrived on his skills once again as he showed age is nothing in sport. On Monday the veteran expressed his happiness after being bought by defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders during the eighth Indian Premier League auction.

Hogg who has earlier plied his trade at Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, was bought by KKR for his tremendous success for Perth Scorchers in the Australian Big Bash. Hog was snapped up for Rs 50,00,000 during the auction held at Bengaluru. The 44-year-old stated he was elated to be joining the Knight Riders in the 2015 IPL. He expressed his views on social micro-blogging site, Twitter.

Hogg, who has taken 156 wickets in 123 ODIs for Australia, also stated that it was a nice welcome from his new team, Kolkata Knight Riders.

Hogg, has taken 106 wickets in 105 twenty20 matches in his career.
