New Delhi: England speedster Tim Bresnan has denied being a part of a club which ran @KPgenius Twitter account, as claimed by Kevin Pietersen in his autobiography.

Pietersen had said that the account had disturbed him a lot after he came to know that it was being run by his own team-mates.

Former England wicketkeeper Alec Stewart said on Wednesday he had been told by the account's owner, Richard Bailey, that Bresnan, Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann all had access to the "KPGenius" profile. Stewart also said he had reported what he had been told by Bailey to the ECB.

But Bresnan refuted all such reports and said he never had access to any such account.

And wasn&#39;t involved In any posting.</p>&mdash; Tim Bresnan (@timbresnan) <a href="https://twitter.com/timbresnan/status/520131088229076992">October 9, 2014</a></blockquote>

In an interview with a leading British newspaper, Pietersen has sent the cricketing fraternity in a state of shock by claiming that there had been a "bullying" culture under the tenure of former coach Andy Flower.

The South Africa-born batsman, who is the leading run-scorer for England in all formats of the game, also slammed Matt Prior, who according to him was the leader of a group which went after the younger team-mates for dropping catches.

Pietersen was axed by the ECB earlier this year after the team's 5-0 Ashes loss to Australia. While he hasn't given up hopes of playing for England again, experts believe his recent interview could end all possibilities of a comeback.
