When ultimate Sri Lankan cricket fan entered Indian team dressing room!

New Delhi: Percy Abeysekera is to Sri Lankan cricket what Chacha Cricket and Sudhir Kumar Chaudhary are to Pakistan and Indian cricket respectively.

Abeysekera is often seen waving the Sri Lanka flag at matches near the boundary line.

However, according to a report in the Times of India, the very popular fan found himself at the centre of a controversy after he entered the dressing room area, breaching protocol.

International Cricket Council's Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU) prohibits anyone from entering player dressing rooms.

Percy was seen hugging and kissing Indian opener Murali Vijay on TV, which has clearly upset the ICC ACSU.

According to Abeysekera, Team India skipper Virat Kohli invited him to meet the team.

“Kohli invited me to the dressing room. I sang some Hindi songs. We hugged and kissed and had a lot of fun. There was an Indian ACSU official there and he didn't like me in the dressing room. He asked me to leave and told me I am not allowed to enter either of the dressing rooms. There is no black mark associated to me,“ the 79-year-old was quoted as saying in the TOI report.
