New Delhi: The newly elected BCCI President Anurag Thakur, who has replaced Shashank Manohar, addressed a range of issues in his maiden press conference on Sunday.

Here are seven important points that he raised during his media briefing.

1. We will publish advertisement for the post of India coach, by 10th June, interested individuals can apply.

2. Will take every step to make Team India 1st in all forms of cricket (ODI, Test, T20I & domestic cricket).

3. As far as women cricket is concerned, we have increased their match fees, brought them under contract system.

4. Energy audit of stadiums will be done on how rain harvesting systems, solar panels can be installed.

5. Future stadiums will be green stadiums in India, BCCI to provide all help for the same, Rs 100 cr earmarked for initiative.

6. BCCI took various reformative steps even before recommendations of Lodha committee report was out.

7. We are in favour of implementing (Lodha Committee) recommendations which are practical.
