Rahul Dravid's 9-year-old son Samit scores 93 in Under-12 match

New Delhi: Following in the footsteps of his father Rahul, Samit Dravid on Thursday played a crucial part in his side's win in an Under-12 match in Bengaluru.

According to a report on Cricketnext, Samit's 93-run knock helped Mallya Aditi International School beat Delhi Public School (Whitefield) by 63 runs at the St. John's Medical College grounds.

Though the right-hander failed to score a hundred, his innings powered the team to 168 for 3 in 16 overs. Samit's side then manage to restrict the opposition to 107 for 6.

Earlier in the week, the 9-year-old played another important innings of 77.

Rahul Dravid has two sons - Samit and Anvay.
