New Delhi: India's limited-overs skipper MS Dhoni's passion for football is no secret. And when he got a chance to play a football match recently, he grabbed the opportunity with both hands.

Dhoni played a compete 90-minute football match with players of the Silli Football Academy at Silli Stadium near Ranchi.

Dhoni used to be a goal-keeper in his younger days before he took the wicket-keeping gloves.

However, during the football match, Dhoni didn't stand in front of the bars, and played at the left flank.

In fact, the Indian skipper went on to score a superb goal for his side.

While talking to reporters on the sidelines of the match, Dhoni stated that he had been taking complete rest and spending time with his family for the last one month and he played the match to test his endurance after the long break.

After a long and tiring cricket season, Mahi is spending some quality time with his family in Ranchi.
