SRH vs SL: Indian Premier League 9, Qualifier 2 - Players to watch out for in virtual semi-final

New Delhi: Sunrisers Hyderabad take on Gujarat Lions in Qualifier 2 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 to be played at Feroz Shah Kotla today.

David Warner and his boys would be brimming with confidence since they knocked out two-time winners Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the previous match.

On the other hand, Suresh Raina-led Lions need to pull up their socks after throwing away a match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Qualifier 1.

Here are players to watch out for from both the teams for today's crucial match, which is a virtual semi-final:

Suresh Raina: After missing his first match of IPL, Raina rediscovered his form in the tournament with back-to-back fifties. But in the big match against RCB, the left-hander failed to lead from the front. Now that they have got yet another opportunity to book a berth for final, Raina will be desperate to play a captain's knock against Hyderabad.

David Warner: There are not many batsmen who can dominate the shortest version of the game, the way Warner does. While he has been sensational while chasing down totals in IPL 2016, that hasn't been the case with him while batting first. Regardless of who wins the toss today, the Australian will be expected to set the match on fire with another blistering knock.

Dwayne Bravo: While playing for the Chennai Super Kings, the West Indian was a dominant force and was always in the tally of the highest wicket takers. But that hasn't been the case this year as Bravo has not only failed to bamboozle batsmen with his slower balls, but has also hardly made any contributions with the bat. In such a high-voltage match, he would be keen to lift his performances by several notches.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar: Bhuvneshwar Kumar is currently the purple cap holder with 21 wickets. While there hasn't been much swing on offer for him, Bhuvi has asphyxiated the batsmen by sticking with accurate line and length right throughout the series. He played a crucial role for SRH once again in the death overs against KKR, and something similar would be expected from him against Lions as well.
