New Delhi: England registered a huge total of 477 runs against India in first innings and debutant Liam Dawson deserves a fare credit for such a big team score as he posted 66 not out by the end of 1st innings.

In the 128th over of the match, ball had gone down the behind the stumps after hitting Adil Rashid's pads and Virat Kohli chased it down from slips before attempting a throw towards the bowler's end but found Liam Dawson was running in the line of throw.

Kohli apologized as he realized that the ball might have hit Dawson but the latter continued to stare at the Indian skipper for a while.

As a result, Kohli was invited by the on-field umpire for a brief chat.
