But amid the ruins, Jos Buttler kept the English interests alive with his on-field antics, so much so that he has become latest fan favourite, a la South African AB de Villiers.

While fielding on day four, he not only keep himself busy with the chores of collecting balls but also engaged to sizeable Chepauk crowd.

But come tomorrow, England are likely to suffer their fourth successive defeat of the tour. They still need 270 more runs to avoid an innings defeat.
