WATCH: Epic run-out between Ravindra Jadeja, Ishan Kishan stuns everyone during RCB vs GL match in IPL 2017

New Delhi: India's star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja had a forgettable outing in the Gujarat Lions' Indian Premier League (IPL) match against the visiting Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Tuesday at Rajkot.

The 28-year-old entered the match with a new-look, but he ended up leaking 57 runs without success in his spell of four overs.

Then, while chasing an improbable target of 214-runs, the Lions needed contributions from everyone, and also sensible batting, as not to throw away wickets.

But their worst fears came true when Jadeja got involved in a deadly mix-up with Ishan Kishan. It happened towards the end of the match, when the tie was still alive.

Travis Head bowled the fourth ball of the 18th over to Jadeja, which was played to long on. A single taken comfortably, but Jedeja was found ball watching when Kishan pushed for the second.

At first glimpse, it looked like Kishan was the man getting out, but it revealed that Jadeja's bat was in the air, hanging, even as Kishan took a slide while running.

The video stunned everyone, including the commentators, who went on to question Jadeja's running.

The Lions lost the match by 21 runs, and are languishing at bottom with two points from five matches.
