Faridabad: A 15-year-old girl has filed a complaint saying that she was raped by her neighbour in Faridabad.
According to the complaint, she was raped on August 26. She had come home from school when her neighbour, Manish, who lives Jeevan Nagar here, barged into the house and raped.
The victim was also threatened by the accused for her life in case she makes any noise, it said.
Later the girl was taken to police station by her family and a case was registered at Women Police Station Faridabad under IPC section 376 (rape), 452 (house-trespass) and 506 (criminal intimidation) as well as section 4 of POCSO Act.
The police have started investigation in the case, said investigating officer ASI Sumitra Devi.
