Five of family killed in wall collapse in Rajasthan

Bikaner: Five members of a family, including 2 children, were killed when a nine feet-high wall collapsed on them in Kotwali police station area here last night.

The victims were sleeping on the roof of their house when the common wall separating their and neighbour`s terrace collapsed on them killing Noorjahan (75), her daughter Mujiba (32), grand daughter Aamna (1), Bilal (6) and Rubiya (18) on the spot, police said.
The structure was in a dilapidated state and high velocity winds could have resulted in its collapse, SHO Kotwali Saurabh Tiwari said.
Their bodies were later pulled out of debris and sent for postmortem, he added.
