Bathinda: The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) on Wednesday (June 22, 2016) declared the results of the Punjab pre-medical entrance test (PMET).
Lovish Gupta of Faridkot has topped the Punjab PMET result 2016.
Arvind Gulati of Talwandi Bhai in Ferozepur grabbed the second spot, while Sunil Garg of Patiala and Ankur Garg secured third and fourth positions respectively.
Students can log on to www.bfuhs.ac.in to check Punjab PMET 2016 result.
The Punjab PMET was held on June 11 and around 14,700 candidates sat for the exam.
In the exam, which was conducted on June 11, more than 14,000 candidates had appeared for as many as 7,000 MBBS and 1,000 BDS seats in government colleges and the government quota seats in private colleges.
In order to do the Score Normalization for PMET-2016, with a view to normalize the difficulty level in the two shifts (Morning and Evening), the University has decided to follow the norms/procedure for score normalization followed and applied by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (AIIMS) in the Computer Based Test (CBT) (Online) Entrance Examination conducted by AIIMS for admission to the MBBS course.
