New Delhi: It seems that after establishing itself as a social network giant, Facebook is now planning to outshine the global digital-advertising industry.
In a latest move Facebook has announced that it is expanding its Facebook Audience Network that will enable the marketers-who have signed up for the network- to show their ads to the non-users across the internet.
In simple words, the company is helping publishers to extend their reach outside the Facebook and also let them find users who are not inside the social network. Anyone who’s ever visited Facebook could see its ads on third-party apps and websites.
The company will install 'cookies', pieces of codes, on all internet user's browsers (with and without Facebook account), according to The Telegraph reports. These cookies will monitor the websites that internet browsers visit and are used to target adverts at users.
Along with cookies, 'Like' button and other plug-ins embedded on third party sites will also help in tracking members and non-members alike.
