Four naxals surrender in Maharashtra

Four naxals, who carried reward of Rs two lakh each on their head, surrendered on Saturday in Gadchiroli in Maharashtra, police said.

Nagpur: Four naxals, who carried reward of Rs two lakh each on their head, surrendered on Saturday in Gadchiroli in Maharashtra, police said.

The four, who turned themselves in, have been identified as Vishal alias Munshi Potavi, 30, Prabhakar Lalu Ramdas Gota, 30, Kishore Punami Chatru, 20, and Sudhakar Danu, 28, a release from Gadchiroli police said.

Last week, Chatgaon Dalam commander Vijay Dugga, who carried a reward of Rs 12 lakh on his head along with his wife Radha, who carried reward of Rs 2 lakh on her head, had surrendered, police added.
