PoK man apprehended by BSF

A resident of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir was apprehended by jawans of Border Security Force along the Line of Control in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

Srinagar: A resident of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir was apprehended by jawans of Border Security Force along the Line of Control in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

"A PoK resident was nabbed by BSF jawans after he was found under suspicious circumstances in Gohalan village of Uri on September 18," a BSF officer said on Saturday.

He said the PoK resident, identified as Qasim Shah, was handed over to local police.

Police have registered a case under Section 2/3 of?Egress?and Internal Movement (Control)?Ordinance and started investigations.

Shah, a resident of Bagh tehsil in Muzaffarabad, has told police that he had quarreled with his family and?wandered towards LoC when he was nabbed by BSF troops.
