5 booked for 'provocation' in Kishtwar

Five persons have been booked for their alleged involvement in anti-India activities and indulging in "provocation" to disturb peace in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Jammu: Five persons have been booked for their alleged involvement in anti-India activities and indulging in "provocation" to disturb peace in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

"(They) have been booked for provocation to disturb peace and anti-India activities in Kishtwar district during a protest," a senior police officer said.

The situation is peaceful in the district, he added.

Several protests had broken out in the Valley following the killing of Hizbul commander Burhan Wani on July 8.
