Amethi: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi was in his Parliamentary constituency, Amethi, this week.
It was not the first time that Congress MP was visiting his constituency. However, he faced a question this time which none in his constituency had probably asked before.
“Bhaiya, kab tak akele aaoge? Bhabhi kab saath aayengi? (Till when will you visit Amethi alone? When will bhabhi (your wife) accompany you?,” villagers asked Rahul soon after he left his guest house, as per reports in newspapers.
The Congress scion is 45 and unmarried Indian men of this age face this question almost every day.
However, for Rahul to be asked this question is not a daily occurrence.
While the Congress leader was taken aback when asked the question, he just smiled and moved away.
Probably he needed more time to think about the answer...!
