Panaji: Chinese Ambassador to India, Le Yucheng said on Monday that strong ties between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and China's President Xi Jinping could help resolve tensions along the border.
As per The Times of India, Yucheng said that there was a strong chemistry between the two leaders and that would certainly improve relations between India and China.
He added that the warm ties between Modi and Xi would strengthen mutual trust, increase cooperation and address sensitive issues.
The Chinese envoy was speaking in Goa at an exploratory meet with the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
At the same time, Yucheng pointed out that the slowdown in the Chinese economy was not a major concern and that China had moderated the speed of their growth and was restructuring the economy.
