Washington: The US India Business Council (USIBC) would attend the Vibrant Gujarat Summit in Gandhinagar next year as a partner organization, a media release has said.
"USIBC is pleased to once again be a part of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, having long supported the pro-business environment of the state," said USIBC acting president Diane Farrell.
"The Summit provides a fantastic opportunity for our member companies to enhance their association in fields ranging from infrastructure to tourism, education to entertainment," she said.
"USIBC's engagement with Vibrant Gujarat began in November 2008," she said adding, "and we have seen in our many years of participation that the Summit is a wonderful opportunity for our members and the business community to reinforce the relationship with the State of Gujarat and increase bi-lateral trade between the two nations."
In a statement, USIBC congratulated the Government of Gujarat on its continued commitment to hosting this important globally focused event and added that it looks forward to the valuable insights and relationships the delegation will gain by attending the Summit.
