Sushma's 'Mamma' speech in Lok Sabha made Advani emotional

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) patriarch LK Advani got emotional after hearing External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's speech in Lok Sabha on Wednesday.

The most senior BJP leader, who was seated next to Swaraj, patted his colleague's back after she finished her impressive speech, in which she made a point by point rebuttal against Congress' charges against her in Lalitgate row.

Advani was seen patiently listening to Swaraj's sharp reply and also giving some inputs during her speech.

While replying to Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge's charges against her in Lalit Modi case, Swaraj vehemently targetted the Gandhi family and rejected of any wrongdoing in Lalitgate.

Addressing the Lok Sabha, Swaraj took potshots at Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi saying “It is the Gandhi family which has the habit of doing things in discreet manner.”

Rubbishing Rahul's charge of committing a criminal act in Lalitgate row, the BJP leader asked the Gandhi scion to to read his family's history when he goes on a vacation next time.

Launching a blistering attack on the Congress vice president, Swaraj completely rejected Rahul's 'baseless' accusations against her family's financial transactions with Lalit Modi, saying that “I want Rahul to ask his mother why Quattrochhi and Anderrson were let off hook and ask his Mamma (Sonia Gandhi), how much money did daddy (Rajiv Gandhi) take from Quattrocchi.

“It is the Gandhi family which has the habit of doing things in discreet manner, exhorted Sushma adding, “I have been in politics for 32 years, there is no single blot on my career.”
