New Delhi: In an apparent reference to the Sunanda Pushkar death case, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy on Wednesday said, “If high profile women married to Ministers are murdered & case is buried then there will a Nirbhaya case every day.”

The BJP leader also hinted at revealing some information related to the Sunanda Pushkar death case soon.

Swamy took to his Twitter account to say “Who did Sunanda meet in Lutyen's area and why? 'Deep Throat' has promised to tell me "soon".”

The BJP leader has been stating that Sunanda was murdered and Shashi Tharoor clearly knows who is behind his wife's murder.

Tharoor was questioned Monday night at the Anti Auto Theft Squad office in south Delhi's Vasant Vihar police station.

Swamy on Tuesday had said police should move slowly and carefully in the high profile case of former union minister Shashi Tharoor's wife Sunanda Pushkar's death case.

"When the UPA was there, they were not allowed to question Tharoor. There was a lot of pressure and there were a few police officers who complied with the ruling party. But, ever since November, the police have moved into action. This is a high profile case with so many interests involved. The IPL matter is also tagged with this. So, I think the police have to move slowly and carefully. Most importantly, find out why Tharoor lied earlier and what is the truth," said Swamy.

Earlier this month, the police had said that based on available evidence, Sunanda Pushkar, 51, was poisoned.

A case of murder was registered on January 6.

Sunanda Pushkar was found dead in the five-star Leela Hotel in Delhi on January 17, 2014.
