New Delhi: BJP president Amit Shah on Saturday welcomed the NDA government's move to announce the implementation of long-awaited 'One Rank One Pension' (OROP) scheme for retired armed forces personnel.
Calling the implementation of OROP a historic decision, Shah told reporters that it is a big step for the welfare of Indian soldiers.
Thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP chief said the decision will go a long way in boosting the morale of soldiers and their families.

“Congress' decision on OROP was a joke with servicemen. Modi government has fulfilled its commitment and given them economic security,” he said.
