Speaking to reporters after casting vote today, the Lingayat strongman said, “We are getting minimum of 15 Lok Sabha seats here but the party is aiming for 20 seats.”

BSY, as he is popularly known, also rubbished reports that all is not well for BJP here as a pro-Congress mood prevails here.

“My party is working together without any problem. Atmosphere here is very good. We will win good number of seats here.” the BJP leader said.
Geeta Shivarajkumar, wife of super star Shivarajkumar and daughter of late S Bangarappa, is contesting against him.

She is considered to be his strongest opponent. Yeddyurappa, unperturbed by glitters of film stars, is confident of winning from Shimoga.
