Cool morning in Delhi, max temp expected to be around 39 degrees Celsius

New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a relatively cooler morning today with the minimum temperature settling at 26 degrees Celsius, a notch below the average.

"The minimum temperature settled at 26 degrees while 0.4 mm rainfall was recorded in the past 24 hours," said MeT department official.

The sky is forecast to be mainly clear and later becoming partly cloudy in the evening. Very light rain is also expected in some parts, said the official.

The maximum temperature is expected to be around 39 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level at 8.30 in the morning was 68 per cent, he said.

The maximum and minimum temperatures in the national capital were recorded at 38.6 and 27.4 degrees Celsius on yesterday.
