Bodies of two children were fished out from a pond at a village in Siwan district of Bihar on Sunday, a police officer said.

The local people saw the bodies floating at a pond at Kelai Belaur village and informed the police which got the bodies fished out by divers and sent it for post-mortem, Gurhni police station area in-charge Ravindra Mochi said.
The bodies were identified that of Pradeep Singh`s two minor children - a girl and a boy, aged around seven and five years respectively, he said.

The two had gone missing from their native Murega village under mysterious circumstances two days ago, Mochi said.
A case has been lodged in this connection and one person detained for questioning, the police officer said.
