Ara: A newly-married couple allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison at Karnaul in Bhojpur district early Thursday.
Avinash Kumar (24) and his wife Anjali Singh (20) consumed poison following a family dispute.
They were brought to the Ara Sadar Hospital where both died in the wee hours, Bhojpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Navin Chandra Jha said.
Family members fled from the hospital after the couple died.
Jha said the deceased had got married in December last year.
