Gaya: The security forces arrested a hardcore Maoist from a village under Dumaria police station area in Bihar's Gaya district, a police officer said Friday.
Acting on a tip off, the security forces comprising the CRPF and local police, raided Tarwadih village last night and aprehended the hardcore Maoist, identified as Raja Yadav, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), City, Rakesh Kumar said.
A member of the proscribed outfit CPI(Maoist), Yadav was wanted in connection with three cases of Naxal violence in the district.
