Ryan murder case accused loved watching porn, used to kick kids in school: Reports

Gurugram: Chilling details about a 16-year-old student of Ryan International School in Gurugram, who was on Wednesday remanded to a 3-day CBI custody in connection with the Pradyuman Thakur murder case, have emerged now.

According to reports, the Class XI student- a prime accused in the murder of Class 2 student Pradyuman Thakur - had a history of bad behaviour.

He used to carry a knife often inside the school campus and was seen carrying the same on the day Pradyuman Thakur was murdered.

The accused is also believed to be a lover of pornographic content and had reportedly watched a clip on the day Pradyuman was murdered, according to IANS.

The son of a rich and an influential father, the accused is violent in nature and used to kick kids and threaten them inside the school premise.

The accused was seen as a big bully among the Gurugram Ryan International School students.

He was reportedly weak in studies and wanted his exams and an earlier scheduled parents-teachers meeting postponed – the main motive behind the killing.

The arrested student had reportedly told two of his classmates not to worry about upcoming exams as he'll do something to 'handle' it.

According to the CBI, he did not specifically target Pradyuman Thakur.

Though media reports claimed that he might have tried to sexually assault the seven-year-old Thakur when he entered inside the school washroom, minutes after he was dropped by his father, the CBI ruled out the sexual assault angle in the case.

He was on Wednesday remanded to a three-day CBI custody by the Juvenile Justice court in Gurugram.

The CBI took over the case on September 22 from Haryana Police, nearly two weeks after the Class 2 boy was found with his throat slit in a school bathroom.

The Haryana Police had earlier claimed that Pradyuman was killed by school bus conductor Ashok Kumar inside the toilet as the boy resisted a bid to sodomise him. While Ashok Kumar was arrested, Pradyuman's parents and two other staffers have claimed that he was being made a scapegoat.

However, the CBI has now given a clean chit to the bus conductor.

Meanwhile, the father of the accused had said that his son was being framed in the case.

"They (CBI) arrested my son last night. My son has not committed the crime. He informed gardener and teachers," said the father of the arrested student, further alleging that the CBI tried to force them to sign the confession documents.

"There was no spot of blood on my child's clothes. He was giving the exam," said the father.

The 16-year-old was reportedly the first person to inform about Pradyuman's body in the bathroom.
