Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday urged the state's people to participate in the 'World Car Free Day' on September 22 to help combat traffic jams and pollution.

The chief minister said people should use environment friendly means of transport such as bicycles, carpooling and public transport.

He urged the people to avoid the use of car on September 22 to reduce pollution and save petrol and diesel.
