Rohtak: The Special Investigation Team of the Haryana Police, that is interrogating Honeypreet Insan in connection with sedition and rioting cases, has found it difficult to get details from her and are reportedly considering to conduct a narco test on her.

A top cop told news agency ANI that they the controversial adopted daughter of Gurmeet Ram Rahim did not divulge anything during her interrogation. "Honeypreet is not co-operating in the interrogation as desired. If this continues, we'll ask for a further remand," Panchkula Police Commissioner AS Chawla told ANI.

Meanwhile, one person was rounded up and was interrogated by the police in connection with the case. "The person gave us Honeypreet's whereabouts during the period she was absconding," Chawla said.

The 36-year-old went underground following the violence after Ram Rahim was convicted and sentenced to 20-year of imprisonment for raping two female disciples inside the Dera. The prosecution had sought her custody as they said that she was the closest aide Ram Rahim and knew many things about the activities of the sect.

The police remand was opposed by Honeypreet's defence counsel who claimed that she was surrounded by tight security and had no role in the violence in Panchkula on August 25.
