Days after 'gruesome' Rohtak rape, Sikkim woman gang-raped inside moving car in Gurugram, dumped on Delhi road

As the country celebrated Mother's Day on Sunday, yet another incident of crime against a woman came to the fore.

Gurugram: Days after the brutal gang-rape of a girl in Haryana's Rohtak, yet another incident of crime against another woman has come to the fore. 

According to a report, a 26-year-old woman, hailing from Sikkim, was gang-raped by three men in a moving car after she was kidnapped near Sukhrali village in Gurugram on Saturday.

The victim, who lives as a paying guest in sector 17, had gone to meet a friend in Delhi's Connaught Place where they first watched a movie and then later went to a bar. Her friend then dropped her on the main road near her paying guest accommodation in Sukhrali village.

As the woman was heading towards her home, when she was forcefully dragged by three men inside their car. The men took turns to rape her inside their moving car while heading to Najafgarh in the national capital. 

Nearly 3 hours later, the accused threw her out in Najafgarh area and sped away.

The woman later approached the passerby and informed the Delhi Police which later alerted the Gurugram police. 

A case of rape has been registered against three persons. 

The woman in her complaint told the police that one of the accused was addressed as Deepak by others. 

According to a report, the police have identified a few vehicles and have scanned the CCTV footage of nearby areas to gather vital information.

The incident comes days the brutal gangrape-murder of a woman after her decomposed and mutilated body was spotted near the Industrial Model Township in Haryana's Rohtak.
