New Delhi: Football has always been a game of beauty. As rightfully referred to by Pele, it is a "beautiful game". The 90-minutes of the game brings about much action, wonderful passes, subtle dribbling along with the cheering cowd. But at the end of the day, it is the goal that is more cherishable than any other.

Last Night saw both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid take driver's seat as they thrashed their opponents in their respective Champions league matches. But what caught the eyes of the spectators was two mindboglling goals that came about in both matches.

Allianz Arena, on Wednesday, witnessed Dutch star Arjen Robben score his 124th goal for Bayern Munich in just the similar manner in which most of his goals were. Yet the goal with which the entire riot took off with, seemed absolutely exquisite and startling to look at. He came from the right, dribbling past the defenders and then unleashed an absolute curl which travelled to the far-left corner of the post, leaving the goalkeeper too astonished to make an effort.

Here, take a look at the goal:

The second wonder came in the first match and was also the first goal of the match. A through pass by Napoli's Marek Hamsik and Lorenzo Insigne struck a right-footed shot from a distance of 40 yards. Goalkeeper Navas, who was off his mark was clearly startled as his dive wasn't enough to stop the ball from going past him. Although the goal gave Napoli a lead in the first half, The Los Blancos stole the show in the socond half to make it 3-1.
