Mohammad Kaif takes a subtle dig at Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad after he hit Air India official with slippers

New Delhi: Dram in its extreme was witnessed on a Pune-New Delhi Air India flight after Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad had hit a 60-year-old Air India staff member with his slipper on Thursday. Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif, however, took a subtle dig at the Shiv Sena MP for his act on micro-blogging site Twitter.

"Business Class does not necessarily give a man Class. Seat is temporary, Class is permanent.

#KaifSyrup," the former Indian batsman tweeted.

The whole controversy started over the issue of a seat of choice as the MP started hitting the aged staffer in angry as Air India changed his seat from the business to economy class.

Reacting on the matter, a defiant Gaikwad said didn't even feel sorry for his act. “First ask him (victim) to apologise, then we will see. A 60-year-old man should also know how to behave” said the MP.

In the latest developments on the matter, Indigo had cancelled a Delhi-Pune ticket booked for him to fly on Friday evening, following the footsteps of Air India who had first cancelled his tickets scheduled for Firday 4:00 PM departure.

All schedule Indian carriers have decided to ban this MP from flying on all our flights with immediate effect.
