India vs England: Saba Karim trolled Inzamam-ul-Haq on Day 2 of Mohali Test – Read how!

New Delhi: Former Pakistani skipper Inzamam ul Haq is one cricketer, whose name immediately comes to mind when the discussion is about running between the wickets. Inzi, despite being one of the greatest cricketers to have played for Pakistan, is the butt of all jokes for his poor running between the wickets.

During discussion after Day 2 of the ongoing India-England Test, former Indian cricketer Saba Karim hailed England wicketkeeper batsman Jos Buttler's throw, with which he ran out Indian debutant Karun Nair.

The incident happened in the 55th over of India's innings where Kohli worked the ball towards point and called for a single, but changed his mind after Buttler dived full length to his right to stop the ball. Responding to his skipper, Nair was half way down the pitch when Kohli refused for the single and by the time he turned back, Butler's throw had hit the stumps at non-striker's end. It was a brilliant fielding effort and Karim too acknowledged it.

Recalling his playing days, Karim said that in his entire career, he hardly got any run-outs, except one, which was of Inzamam. Having said that, Karim was honest to confess that the credit for that run-out should go to Inzamam and not to him.
