England legend Kevin Pietersen posts a heart-warming post in Hindi after increase in rhino population

A census in India's Kaziranga National Park has provided good news that the number of one-horned rhinos has increased by 12 in the last three years.

The news has been welcomed by a large section of society, especially wild-life activists, and former England batsman Kevin Pietersen is the latest personage to express his happiness at the increase in population of the animal, which stands at 2,413 now. 

However, his way of celebration has been a little unusual as on Twitter on Monday he posted a message in Hindi. It's not clear who helped Pietersen with the message or whether he knows enough Hindi to formulate such a post.

Last month, the 37-year-old at last walked off into the sunset. The match between Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was his last game as a professional.

Pietersen played 104 Tests and 136 ODIs for England and in the 2010 World T20 in the West Indies, he played a key role in the England team's triumph - their first trophy in a global tournament.  

Pietersen fell foul of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) following the 2013-14 Ashes debacle. He was thrown out of the team shortly after and never brought back amidst several allegations of rift-fuelling behaviour against him by his own teammates.

In the Indian Premier League (IPL), he represented several teams, like Delhi Daredevils, Deccan Chargers, Rising Pune Supergiant, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
