My favourite airport : Colombo
What I like about it: The first sight to catch any attention at the airport is the massive Duty Free. Bandaranaike International Airport has a huge duty free that is spread across the airport. The cleanliness is also commendable. The airport is very well connected and with ongoing infrastructure developments, by 2020 the airport is expected to further increase traffic and capacity.
What could be improved: The airport is spacious and adheres to a high level of cleanliness, if a few lounges for business and leisure could be added to the airport it would be great.
Other airports I like: London Heathrow and Zurich, Kloten Airport. Both these airports are extremely well built and very spacious. Despite the huge rush they operate smoothly and are always clean.
Favourite in India: It has to be the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Terminal 2 in Mumbai. The airport is beautifully created with art work that has been curated from across India featuring several artists, the airport is pure visual treat for passengers. It beautifully defines Indian tradition and captures each part of India through different installations.
