Favorite Airport: Leh
What I like about it: I was in Leh when the cloud-burst happened in 2010. I still remember, there was this massive rush to get into the airport as the flights would only land and take off in the morning.
Amidst high chaos, I distinctly remember the Leh airport staff to be courteous and with a clear look on their face that said “don’t worry, we will get you home”.
Also, the landing and take-off on that short run-way is adventurous.
What could be improved: The facilities were very basic. They can definitely be improved, considering people from around the world travel to Leh.
Other Airports I like: I have always liked Schiphol for the beautiful big flower beds that greet you outside the airport.
Nepal airport also feels quite calm and happy, though the people there are dramatically slow.
Heathrow is great for a transit and so is Munich (am still amazed at how open the Munich airport is – in terms of access to places and even to go outside the airport).
