My Favorite Airport: Cochin International Airport.
Touch down at the Cochin airport gives a breath-taking sight of solar panels gleaming in the sun. It offers a striking view of the world’s first solar powered airport. The traditional old style terminal building provides a welcoming sentiment to passengers as they make a headway into the city
What I like about it: Cochin International Airport, is a first of its kind. It is the world’s first green airport, which harnesses solar energy equal to its consumption. This is a marvelous achievement by managers who have truly understood the soul of India (a power starved economy) and acted in concrete ways to bring about transformation and create a sustainable business model
What can be improved: On account of handling huge international traffic, Cochin airport can improve on managing the passenger movement. There could be a streamlined path for passengers alighting and arriving, which in turn would aid in lesser time for passengers exiting. This can be achievable because in spread, Cochin airport occupies one of the large space footprints in India
Other airports I Like: Lucknow, Pune and Nagpur airports are great places to see increased aspirations of travelers from economically disadvantaged sections. They indicate a significant deal about India’s progress
