The Indian Potash Limited (IPL) conducted a one-day seminar in Rajakumari (Idukki, Kerala) last week on Integrated Nutrient Practices in all crops. The seminar was inaugurated by PG Ushakumari, Principal Agricultural Officer. Classes on latest plant protection technologies in cardamom and pepper were taught by AK Vijayan from Indian Cardamom Research Institute. Around 200 farmers participated. Those who spoke on the occasion included Manju Jincy Varghese of KVK, Johncy Manithottam (Spices Board), K Induchoodan (IPL), Jacob Ponnus of CPMCS and Renjith K Rajeev of IPL.
