The first reactor of Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant will generate power to its full capacity of 1,000 MW within a few days, KNPP Site Director R S Sundar said today.
Speaking to reporters here on the sidelines of a function, he said the first unit was generating 960 MW now and it would generate power to its maximum capacity in a few days. Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant started commercial operations on December 31, 2014.
