The Sports Hub, Thiruvananthapuram, a modern stadium developed by IL&FS in public private partnership with the Kerala government, has won the David Vickers Award for New Venue of the Year. The award was given away at the Stadium Business Awards 2016 held at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Madrid, Spain, on June 1. The Sports Hub has been built a cost of ₹345 crore and has a seating capacity of 50,000 and can host cricket and football matches.
